Hydrangea Charm
Hydrangea Charm
It's not one flower. It's hundreds, all together, each one ready to take on the color the soil asks of it.
The hydrangea needs cold. It doesn't bloom just anywhere in Costa Rica --- it needs altitude, mountain air, the cool climate of Zarcero where the air feels different. And there, sheltered by that cold, it does something no other flower does: it changes color based on the acidity of the soil holding it. Acidic soil, blue. Neutral soil, purple. Alkaline soil, pink.
It doesn't choose a color --- it responds to what surrounds it, and still never stops being itself. And it doesn't grow alone. What looks like one round flower is actually hundreds of small flowers, joined together, forming a single perfect bouquet.
That's what people who know how to read every room and adapt with empathy to whoever is in front of them are like --- not because they lose their shape, but because, like the hydrangea, they understood you can change color without ever stopping being one flower. In 950 fine silver. Made by hand. In Costa Rica.
This charm is for the ones with that rare ability: holding many, showing many colors, and still being deeply, entirely themselves.
Material: sterling silver 950
Finish: polish with blue enamel
Compatible with chains / Pandora bracelets or similar.
A note on handcrafted quality
Each piece is cast individually in 950 silver using a traditional lost-wax process. As with all handcrafted metalwork, minor surface variations — such as small pores or subtle texture differences — may be present. These are a natural result of the artisan process and do not affect the structural integrity or overall aesthetic of the piece. What you receive is not a mass-produced object. It is made by hand, one at a time. By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges that these variations may or may not be present in their piece.
