You looked away for one second on the beach, and the monkey already had your fruit. Noisy, curious, impossible to ignore. Almost like a gangster.

This collection was born in Manuel Antonio, on Costa Rica's Central Pacific coast, where the rainforest runs down to the beach and the capuchin monkeys know how to open backpacks. Each piece is designed and cast by hand in 950 silver in my workshop in San José, so you take home the moment, not just a photo of it.
